Abstract : A new method is presented for the joint estimation of the inharmonicity coefficient and the fundamental frequency of inharmonic instrument sounds. The proposed method iteratively uses a peak selection algorithm and a joint parameters estimation method based on nonlinear optimization. We further introduce an adapted tessitura model to evaluate our proposed method for piano sounds and to compare it with state-of-the-art techniques.
