Class diagrams and usecase models are system models that are used to analyze, design and model objectoriented systems. In this era of agile computing, service-oriented architecturehas become increasingly popular for achieving efficient and agile businesssolutions that can maintain changes demanded by the business world. This paperproposes a methodology to identify services from a set of class diagrams anduse case models in order to generate a service oriented model. An extensiveevaluation of the generated services has shown that these services conform tothe principles of Service Oriented Architecture SOA, and provide astraightforward methodology, which can reuse the valuable business logic thatresides within legacy applications to migrate to SOA-based systems.
