Radical scavenging activity RSA of chloro and methyl substitutedbenzylamine derivatives BADs has been studied using 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazylfree radical DPPH? through spectrophotometric and physico- chemical techniques at T = 298.15, 303.15 and 308.15 K. Newexperimental data on the density, sound velocity, isentropic and apparent molalcompressibility of selected BADs + DPPH● solutions as a function oftemperature and concentration are reported. The results are discussed withregards to structure-activity relationship SAR principles of BADs. Therelative deviations in RSAs varied with structural potentials of BADs whichwere analyzed by making a comparative study for both the spectrophotometric andphysicochemical results.
