This paper presents a record of radiolarian species from thesections 1H1-1H2 Leg 119 Site 738B of Southern Ocean region. Well diversifiedtaxa of typical Antarctic assemblage are present in the sections. Thirtyspecies were identified and illustrated from twenty-nine samples. Onthe basis of appearance, disappearance and abundance of taxa, viz. Omega andPsi zones are established and systematics of stratigraphically importantspecies is described. These zones are equivalent to NR1 and NR2 of Upper Quaternary.
