Using CoSO4, ZnSO4 and Fe2SO43 as raw materials, ammonia as precipitant, hydroxide precursors were prepared by chemical coprecipitation method, after being sintered at 750 ℃ for 3h, the CoxZn1-xFe2O4 nanocrystallines were obtained. By through XRD, SEM and VSM measurements, the morphology, grain size, crystal structure and magnetic properties of CoxZn1-xFe2O4 nanocrystallines were investigated. The results show that all the samples are pure spinel structure; the obtainted CoxZn1-xFe2O4 particles are spherical and the mean grain size is about 20-40nm. The specific saturation magnetization σs and coercive force Hc of the samples increase with the increasing content of cobalt in the CoxZn1-xFe2O4 nanocrystallines, and it gradually transforms from the paramagnetism of ZnFe2O4 to the ferrimagnetism of CoFe2O4.
