The main factors affecting pulverized coal destructive distillation were identified by mathematical derivation, pyrolysis temperature range was determined by thermo gravimetric analysis. At different pyrolysis temperatures, using different temperatures of heat carrier heating coal, on coal particle sizes, heat carrier temperatures, ambient temperatures and carbonization time influence on volatile was invested. The results showed that: particle sizes of pulverized coal and hot carrier temperatures had a little influence on volatile, ambient temperatures and carbonization time were apparent impact on volatiles.
