Abstract: Nowadays, more and more banks are operating in knowledge surroundings. This paper first discusses the definitions of knowledge and knowledge management, and then analyzes the need for knowledge management in banks. At the end of the paper, it studies ways for banks to manage knowledge, which include incentive mechanism and knowledge capital management. With the application of knowledge management in banks, both customers and banks will acquire more rewards.
