The defluoridation of geothermal water using electrocoagulation technology was studied. The defluoridation efficiency was discussed synthetically. At electrode spacing of 0.5cm, A-V of 80m2-m3, current density of 15 mA-cm2, without changing pH and temperature, the defluoridation efficiency achieved the best result in all tests. The results also showed the electrocoagulation was an ideal technology to remove fluoride ions from geothermal water. After the dynamic experiment, adjust the parameters at current density of 15A- m2, HRT of 15min, the defluoridation efficiency achieved the strict requirements of the Drinking Water Standard of China F
