5029 Moor Plantation, Ibadan, Nigeria * Corresponding Author SUMMARY RESUMEN Hydraulic and morphological properties of soils with hardened subsurface plinthite were investigated under three adjacent land use types, which were coconut plantation, continuous arable (maize-soybean rotation) and a pastureland.
Apart from the description of soil morphology, measurements carried out included laboratory saturated hydraulic conductivity on the undisturbed soil core samples collected from the field, conductivity of the pan material and field infiltration capacity.
