Abstract: The E 6-U(1) N gauge extension of the Supersymmetric Standard Model, firstproposed by Ma, is shown to have exactly the requisite ingredients to realizethe important new idea that dark matter is the origin of neutrino mass. Withthe implementation of a discrete Z 2 X Z 2 symmetry, and particle content givenby three {27} representations of E 6, neutrino masses are naturally generatedin two loops, with candidates of dark matter in the loops. All particles ofthis model are expected to be at or below the TeV scale, allowing them to beobservable at the LHC.
