The objective of this research was to determine the modulus of rigidity (GLT) of seven species of Mexican woods (Enterolobium cyclocarpum, Tabebuia donnell-smithii, T.
rosea, Swietenia humilis, Lysiloma acapulcensis, Cordia elaeagnoides y T.
chrysantha), performing torsional vibration tests.
The density, moisture content and natural frequency of smaller specimens were also determined.
