Abstract : We present a parallel adaptive scheme for the Vlasov equation. Our method is based on a way of reducing dependencies between data, thanks to a hierarchical finite element interpolation approach. A specific data distribution pattern yields an efficient implementation. Numerical results are exhibited for a classical beam simulation in the 1D phase space.
