Abstract: We study supersymmetric domain wall solutions in four dimensions arising fromthe compactification of type II supergravity on a SU3xSU3 structuremanifold. Using a pure spinor approach, we show that the supersymmetryvariations can be reinterpreted as a generalisation of the Hitchin flowequations and describe the embedding of a SU3xSU3 structure manifold into aG 2xG 2 structure manifold. We find a precise agreement between the four- andten-dimensional supergravity results. The flow equations derived here shouldhave applications in constructing the gravity duals of Chern-Simons-matterconformal field theories.
