These three variables are the elements of the educational model, KVP, developed by Clément.
The aim of this study was to analyze the Sexual Education approach on textbooks, relating to STD-AIDS and condoms in 15 8th grade Science textbooks, distributed in Brazil by PNLD in 2014.
The data were collected based on two analytical matrices constructed within the European BioheadCitizen Project and analyzed using the KVP model.
The results show that despite the small improvement in the type of image present in textbooks, human bodies are still presented in a sectional shape and the images found are not very enlightening regarding sexual intercourse.
