Summary: The three specific objectives of this study were to developa clearer understanding of the image which business has onthe college campus, to develop insights into the attitudesof business students and a comparison of students in thebusiness college with members of Delta Sigma Pi, a professionalfraternity for male students enrolled in business. In order to base the response evaluations on a reasonablyhomogeneous group of subjects, only those colleges withchapters of the fraternity were considered. The researchdata was collected during the fall of 1972 from 1,000questionnaires mailed to 13 selected colleges . Based onthe comparative data obtained, it is possible to acceptthe major hypothesis that students in professional fraternalorganizations are significantly different in theirattitudes and personal characteristics than are studentswho do not belong to these organizations.
