An epidemiological questionnaire was developed and implemented for owners of domestic cats domiciled in Rio Branco, Acre.
The results were statistically evaluated with the odds ratio and chi-square tests, considering the significance level of 5%.
Of 89 animals’ samples, 22 had antibodies against Toxoplasma gondii.
Among the 22 reactive animals, 15 (68.19%) were female, 15 (68.19%) were less than one year old and 20 (90%) were cross breed.
