Abstract: We investigate the chiral magnetic effect CME under a strong magnetic fieldB = B 0 x 3 at low temperature T < T^chi c. For this purpose, we employ theinstanton vacuum configuration with the finite instanton-number fluctuationDelta, which relates to the nontrivial topological charge Q t. We compute thevacuum expectation values of the local chiral density , chiral chargedensity and induced electromagnetic current , which signal theCME, as functions of T and B 0. We observed that the longitudinal EM current ismuch larger than the transverse one, |j perp-j parallel| ~ Q t, and the equals to the ||. It also turns out that the CME becomes insensitiveto the magnetic field as T increases, according to the decreasing instanton,i.e. tunneling effect. Within our framework, the instanton contribution to theCME becomes almost negligible beyond T~300 MeV.
