Abstract: Electronic transport characteristics through a single phenalenyl moleculesandwiched between two metallic electrodes are investigated by the use ofGreen-s function technique. A parametric approach, based on the tight-bindingmodel, is used to study the transport characteristics through such molecularbridge system. The electronic transport properties are significantly influencedby a the molecule-to-electrode interface structure and b themolecule-to-electrode coupling strength.
