Abstract: We present thermal conductivity measurements performed in three short-periodGaAs 9AlAs 5 superlattices. The samples were grown at differenttemperatures, leading to different small scale roughness and broadening of theinterfaces. The cross-plane conductivity is measured with a differential 3wmethod, at room temperature. The order of magnitude of the overall thermalconductivity variation is consistent with existing theoretical models, althoughthe actual variation is smaller than expected.
